Physicians Cooperative of Texas (PCT) is now Majoris Health Systems!
We are pleased to announce that Majoris Health Systems, formerly OMNI Health Systems, has recently acquired Physicians Cooperative of Texas. We believe that this new arrangement will bring the following benefits to our customers:
• Majoris has the same Physician-Sponsored philosophy as PCT and has active experience in workers’ compensation disability and medical management dating back to 1991;
• As a full service network system, Majoris is able to provide the additional services of utilization review, dispute resolution, credentialing, bill review, and other services all under one roof;
• Majoris is the largest workers' compensation managed care organization is both Oregon and Montana;
• Majoris expects that national carriers with which it contracts will also be motivated to use its services in Texas;
• Majoris is committed to continuing and developing the PCT Texas statewide healthcare network;
Majoris has retained Dr. Stephen Norwood, MD, as the Medical Director for Texas. Majoris-PCT will continue PCT's commitment to medically appropriate driven health care.
